“I had never done any weight lifting or resistance training before starting Edufit in May 2008. I have now lost over 40 pounds while eating a sensible diet that includes all food groups. I have lost several inches and my cholesterol has returned to the normal range.
The trainers are fun but knowledgeable about the proper mechanics. The exercise routine changes and gradually increases to improve your strength and stamina.
As a 50 plus year old woman who has been on almost every fad diet, this has completely changed the way I exercise.
And the most important thing I learned is that lean muscle burns calories while you are doing nothing!
I highly recommend Edufit if you want to improve your overall health.

A few years ago, my doctor told me that if I didn’t lose weight and exercise I wouldn’t live a long and happy life. Taking that to heart, I joined Edufit.
Since joining Edufit I have lost 19 pounds, become stronger and feel much better.
Working with my trainer Pam keeps me on track and makes me accountable in doing my exercises and doing them correctly.

I am in my third year with Edufit. When I started I was 67 years old and not in shape. I used to have frequent back pain and now I have none. The results of this exercise program have been truly amazing. I have slimmed down and put on muscle. My arms alone are four inches larger. I give a lot of credit to my trainer Pam Young. She is so attentive that when you are with her you actually feel like you’re one on one. She is delighted with my progress and tells me that I am doing exercises and lifting weights as well as men half my age. Her encouragement has totally changed my life and my goal is to be a role model for men over seventy.

For the past eight years Edufit has provided a convenient location with knowledgeable, dependable trainers who challenge me to improve my physical strength and endurance. I have benefited from greater strength in my legs, arms, and core which help with balance and stability. The trainer keeps each workout interesting with new exercises that increased in difficulty.
No matter your age, shape or size the staff makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. The small size of the studio is not overwhelming like huge gyms so everything is very manageable. The VALUE of the monthly expense is worth the cost because you actually go to every session you sign up for whereas at a big gym you pay money and never go.

I’ve been at Edufit since mid November of 2008.
After herniating two discs I’ve been afraid to lift weights. It has been over ten years since I’ve lifted. With Edufits caring and educated staff I’ve gotten my muscle back and I feel safe. The 45 minute work out goes fast and I look forward to my visits.

I have been a client with Edufit for over 2 years. With the exception of when I’m out-of-town I try and go 2x/week. I find that provides me an overall workout and toning that complements any other exercise I may be able to squeeze in.
The personal approach provided by the trainers really helps me put together a program that works around injured problem areas (back/knee/hand). They are friendly, supportive and helpful and the focused attention allows me to get a workout in about 40-45 minutes.
As I’m aging it has really helped me keep as active, fit and as healthy as possible.

I have been an Edufit client for over a year and a half. During that time, I have primarily worked with one trainer – Pam. She is always attentive and aware of my needs as well as the other clients who train at the same time as I do. She provides me with a challenging workout that is always safe, interesting and fulfilling; I am very pleased with the results. Having toned muscles makes me feel healthier and stronger (and a bit more attractive!).
The studio is always clean and well-maintained – and has a diverse selection of training machines and weight training paraphernalia. I am glad that there are, at least, two trainers on staff so that I, as a client, have a choice as to who to work with. It is very important to me to be able to work with someone I trust and whose company I enjoy. Thanks Pam … Thank you Edufit!

I was run over by a SUV in 1986 which resulted in some physical limitations. The Edufit trainers are aware of my constraints and modify the exercises so I don’t injure myself while achieving my goals.
Prior to coming to Edufit about a year ago, I had a personal trainer come to my home. Even though I am working out the same amount of time as before, I am seeing better results. I have lost weight and have toned up. Those hidden muscles are now appearing. I LOVE how I look. I actually feel better that I have in 22 years.
No two sessions are the same, so there is no chance of boredom - yet the results keep coming. I enjoy working out and look forward to my sessions with Pam. It is great to have someone help me take control of my health.
